My ThoughtsI was excited for this sequel and I have been anticipating the movie for what feels like forever. And it is now been out for a couple of weeks, and I’ve still not seen it. But I have read this screenplay and I really enjoyed it. I loved reading about Newt again and I hadn’t realized how much I missed him. However, it seemed like there wasn’t that much dialogue in this sequel compared to the first one. There were a lot more scenes with action and not a whole lot of talking.

I’m really interested in learning more about Grindelwald’s character. He’s kind of mysterious to me. I was late getting into the Harry Potter world so I’m not totally familiar with him and I’m interested in learning more about his past with Dumbledore. Also, the ending in this sequel totally blew me away. I closed the book and just sat there for 10 minutes thinking about it and how the next story might play out.

If you enjoyed the first screenplay, I think you would enjoy this one as well. Just go into it knowing there’s not a ton of dialogue with the characters.

If you saw the movie or read the screenplay, let me know what you thought!RachaelInstagramPinteresttumblrTwitter
