TBR: October 2018

TBR October 2018

Hello bookworms!
The last two months have been terrible reading months for me. I have been in an awful reading slump. But I’m out of that slump now and I’m ready to tackle some books. I have 10 books on my TBR for this month but I’m hoping to read a few extra on top of these to get caught up. I am 5 books behind schedule on my Goodreads challenge so here are the books I have planned:

1. Black Beauty by Anna Sewell
2. The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas
3. The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
4. Dry by Neal Shusterman and Jarrod Shusterman
5. Cujo by Stephen King
6. Gemina by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
7. Obsidio by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
8. Through the Dark by Alexandra Bracken
9. The Darkest Legacy by Alexandra Bracken
10. Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas

The Darkest Minds really put me in my terrible reading slump, so why am I reading more books from the series, you ask? Because I’m crazy! I can’t leave the series unfinished and if I don’t read them now, I’ll forget the small details. So I’m going to continue with the series and just be done with them for good. What do you plan on reading this month? Thanks for reading!!RachaelInstagramPinteresttumblrTwitter

  1. I hope October will turn out to be a better reading month for you! I actually had the same thing with the Darkest Minds, I felt like that book pulled me into a proper reading slump and I ended up dnf:ing it. If you feel the need to finish the series, maybe you could try the audiobooks? Those tend to make it easier for me to finish books I’m not super excited about. But you have a really good pile here!! I feel confident that Gemina and Obsidio can solve any reading slump!
