Unboxing: 2018 September OwlCrate

OwlCrate 2018 September1

Hello everyone!
Happy October!! It’s officially my birthday month. That’s right! A whole, entire month. My birthday is actually on the 26th but for the past 5 years since I’ve been with my husband, not once have we got to spend it together. So I celebrate all month long. But anyway, today I have the September OwlCrate unboxing for you. For those of you not familiar with OwlCrate, it is a YA monthly subscription box with a newly released hardcover YA book with 3-5 bookish items that are centered around the theme of the month. September’s theme was ‘Masters of Disguise’ and while it wasn’t my favorite box, there were still a few great items. Here is what was in the box:

Bath soak inspired by The Diabolic designed by Leeloo Soaps

OwlCrate 2018 September3

Fingerless gloves inspired by Six of Crows designed by OwlCrate

OwlCrate 2018 September5

Ceramic mug inspired by Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban designed by Cara Kozik

Lip balm inspired by The Kiss of Deception designed by GeekFireLabs

OwlCrate 2018 September2

Art print inspired by the Shades of Magic series designed by Kirsty Carter

OwlCrate 2018 September9

Pre-order information for Grim Lovelies by Megan Shepherd with nail polish

OwlCrate 2018 September4

Signed hardcover copy of Mirage by Somaiya Daud
Letter from the author

OwlCrate 2018 September10

OwlCrate spoiler card with matching pin

October OwlCrate theme card: ‘Lost In the Bookstore’

The ceramic mug is my favorite and I’m so excited that they will be doing an entire set of these mugs. I believe 7 of them. I also have used GeekFireLabs lip balms in the past before and they are great so I’m excited to see what this new one is like. But other than those two items, I wasn’t that impressed with this box. Fingerless gloves aren’t something that I can use in Florida. And while the bath soak is nice, I don’t absolutely love it. Next months box will have items that will help set the mood for your reading experience AND will include two brand new hardcover books. There will also be an exclusive pair of socks from Out of Print. Be sure to check OwlCrate out if you are at all interested in any of this and use my referral link, here! Thanks for reading!!RachaelInstagramPinteresttumblrTwitter
