I’m back with another tag! I haven’t been doing so many of these up until recently and now I’ve been getting pinged to do all the tags!! I was tagged this time to do The Lady Janies Book Tag. I was tagged by Kaya @ A Fictional Bookworm and even though I am new to her blog, I love what she has done with it, so make sure to check her out! This tag seems to be inspired by the newly released My Plain Jane by Cynthia Hand, Jodi Meadows and Brodi Ashton. And while, I did receive the book in my July OwlCrate box, I have not read it. But I’d still like to participate in this tag so let’s just get into it!

Jane Lynch: A favorite book featuring a character on the LGBTQIA+ spectrum.
Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo – In Crooked Kingdom we get two main characters, Wylan and Jesper, who are both LGBTQIA+. I loved this book and I loved the characters!
Lady Jane Grey: A short book that packed a punch.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky – This is still, to this day, one of my favorite books.
Jane Austen: Favorite heroine in a classic book.
Lucy Pevensie from The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis – I love The Chronicles of Narnia! My favorite book from the series is The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe but Lucy Pevensie is such a great character in all the books.
Jane Eyre: Your favorite retelling.
Heartless by Marissa Meyer – Marissa Meyer is the queen of retellings. The Lunar Chronicles is just truly amazing but my all time favorite has got to be her book, Heartless. A retelling of The Queen of Hearts. If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend it!
Calamity Jane: Your most anticipated release.
Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas – I’m so excited for Kingdom of Ash. I read the entire Throne of Glass series for the first time back in January this year and October can’t come fast enough.
Jane Fonda: A character who upholds feminist ideals.
Scout Finch from To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee – Another one of my favorite classics! Scout Finch speaks her mind and sticks up for what is right and she is exactly who she wants to be.
Jane Krakowski: An underrated book you wish more people would read.
The Breakdown by B.A. Paris – Honestly, read any three of B.A. Paris’ work. They are all 5-star reads. But The Breakdown is my favorite and has a twist that I never saw coming.
The Lady Janies: Two or more authors you wish would write a book together.
Leigh Bardugo & Marissa Meyer – Both of these authors write beautifully and the characters they write are all so great. Can you imagine a book with a cast of characters chosen by these two wonderful authors?
Like always, if I tagged you, please do not feel obligated to do this tag. It is just for fun! And if I didn’t tag you and you are interested in this, then you are now tagged! Thanks so much for reading, cya!
