I hope you all had a great June and are enjoying the new season. It is so hot here in Florida, which is pretty normal, but it feels ridiculously hotter than any summer before. Today, I have my June Favorites for you all. My husband and I own a ton of movies that we haven’t seen all of so I wrote down all the movies he hasn’t seen and the ones I haven’t seen on strips of paper and we get to draw one every night. We watched a bunch of movies in June before he had to leave to the UK so I’m excited for him to come back so we can continue.
No new music this month. I’ve just been listening to stuff at random while I am working out.
No Strings Attached
Men In Black
Another Cinderella Story
So these might not all be favorites but these are what I watched. Annihilation was a movie that my husband wanted to see in theaters but I really didn’t. So he went to see it and he enjoyed it so much that he bought it when it became available and he made me watch it. I didn’t love it. I thought it was weird and I was confused on the ending. We decided to watch Bright on Netflix since we had been wanting to watch it since it came out and I really loved it. It was different but also pretty funny. DodgeBall, No Strings Attached, Sleepy Hollow, Pulp Fiction, Men In Black, Transcendence and Horrible Bosses are the movies that we own that we may not have seen. For example: my husband had seen DodgeBall before, but I hadn’t. I had seen No Strings Attached before, but he hadn’t. This was so fun and I been really enjoying these movies.
13 Reasons Why
24 Hours to Hell and Back
I started the month off re-watching season one of 13 Reasons Why so that I could watch the new season two. I have to say that I enjoy season one better. Season two, was very hard to watch. The last episode has a scene that I had to look away from and it broke my heart and made me sick. This show touches on serious topics so just make sure you do some appropriate research on it before watching so you know if it’s okay for you to watch. I have also been re-watching New Girl! I have seen this show several times and it’s one of my favorites but I have never seen season 7 so I’m working up to it. And lastly, Chef Gordon Ramsay has a new show out, 24 Hours to Hell and Back, and I have been enjoying it a lot! He may yell a lot but he is a joy to watch.
Caraval by Stephanie Garber
Bring Me Back by B.A. Paris
I read 9 books in June and these were my only two 5-star reads. Caraval was a re-read for me and it was equally amazing as the first time I read it. Bring Me Back is B.A. Paris’ third novel and it was so great! I love her writing and the endings of her book are always so unpredictable.
No new video games. I’ve been playing PUBG on my phone but other than that I have nothing new.
What were some of your favorites in June? Have you seen or read any of my favorites? Thanks for reading, cya!
