Book Haul: May 2018

haulmay18

Hello bookworms!
I hope you all had a great May because it’s over and gone now. On the bright side, my husband is finally home! He has been working non-stop since January and the last time I saw him was in March and I’m so happy that he’s home now for the summer. We don’t have a lot of summer plans. Our anniversary is in July and we’re planning on going scalloping with the family since we live near the water now. But other than that it’s going to be a very relaxing and laid-back summer for us.

Last month, I did horrible in terms of buying books. I brought home 18 books! That was ridiculous. This month I hauled five. So much better and I actually read one of them this month. I hope the rest of the year will be small hauls like this one. Don’t get me wrong, who doesn’t love to go book shopping, especially when they are bargain price but I just can’t keep up with my TBR. So here are the books I hauled in May.

1. Last Shot: A Han and Lando Novel by Daniel Jose Older (Barnes & Noble)
2. The Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan (Books-A-Million)
3. The Dark Prophecy by Rick Riordan (Ollie’s Bargain Outlet)
4. A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas (Books-A-Million)
5. Just Listen by Sarah Dessen (Goodwill)

I’ve been slowly collecting all of Sarah Dessen’s books, so when I found Just Listen for $1.19 at Goodwill, I mean c’mon, I’m not going to pass that up. I’ve also been collecting all of Rick Riordan’s books and I found these two for $3.99 each and that leaves my two full price purchases. I HAD to buy A Court of Frost and Starlight. The ACOTAR series is one of my favorites of all time and I already read ACOFAS so you can check out my review here. I did pre-order Legendary by Stephanie Garber and Save the Date by Morgan Matson but those will be in my June haul since they haven’t arrived yet.

What books did you haul this month? Thanks so much for reading, cya!
