I received an ARC of this book from the publisher in return for an honest review. This in no way influences my opinion.

Addie is off to Ireland for her aunt’s wedding but she has only one thing on her mind. The awful heartbreak she had back home. But her brother Ian, wants her to tell their mother what happened and it causes the two of them to fight and argue. Addie finds a guidebook, Ireland for the Heartbroken, at the hotel, and she thinks it might help her get over her broken heart and avoid her brother, Ian. After the wedding, Addie is suppose to fly to Italy and visit her best friend Lina but there is a change in the travel plans and now Addie is on a road trip with her brother Ian and his friend Rowan through Ireland.

It has been a while since I read Love & Gelato but I do remember loving it when I read it and I didn’t think I could love this one as much. I was wrong! I enjoyed this one a lot more than Love & Gelato. We don’t find out what happened with Addie and her heart breaker until about 75% through the book and for that reason alone, I wanted to keep reading to find out. All of the characters were just a delight. Addie is very clumsy and outgoing and she has grown up with three older brothers. Ian is closest to her age so the two are actually very close with their friendship. But the two of them cannot stop fighting. Ian seemed like the very secretive and quiet type, at first. But as we get to know him in the story, we learn who he really is and he is amazing! I also just love Rowan. Rowan actually lives in Ireland and he became friends with Ian online. As I was reading, I tried to read Rowan’s parts in my head with an Irish accent but I just cannot do that accent for some reason but it didn’t take away from his character. Rowan is also dealing with an issue with his family and it is really stressing him out.

The writing was great and fun and even though I’ve never been to Ireland, I felt like I was right there with them. I could feel the wind and the rain. I could see myself in their crappy car that leaked. I liked the small amount of romance in the book but the main story is about Ian and Addie and I love to see a story about siblings. We got to see them at their worst and then come together again. I highly recommend this book. Especially if you enjoyed Love & Gelato.
