Wrap-Up: April 2018

Hello bookworms!
How did I manage to forget to post my Wrap Up for April? I have no idea because I thought I had posted it. But it’s never too late, I guess. I read six books in April, even though I had ten planned. I had an average rating of 3.6 and I have reviews for all of them, so feel free to check those out.

1. Matilda by Roald Dahl
Rating: 4/5 | Review

2. The Princess Bride by William Goldman
Rating: 4/5 | Review

3. Murder On the Orient Express by Agatha Christie
Rating: 3/5 | Review

4. The Dry by Jane Harper
Rating: 4/5 | Review

5. The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger by Stephen King
Rating: 2/5 | Review

6. Scythe by Neal Shusterman
Rating: 5/5 | Review

Scythe was definitely the best book I read this month. It totally blew away my expectations and it is one of the best books I have read this year! The Dry was a really great mystery that I didn’t see the ending coming and I’m looking forward to reading more from this author. Murder On the Orient Express was disappointing since I totally predicted who the killer was and The Gunslinger was just not my style of story.

What were your favorites reads in April? How many books did you end up reading? Thanks for reading, cya!

    1. That’s totally fine. lol. Life gets busy sometimes and we shouldn’t worry about trying to compete with others on how much we read. I follow someone on Bookstagram who reads like 6 books a week and I had found myself trying to read more because everyone else is but I know that’s ridiculous. So now I read when I want and at the pace I want.
