Top 5 Tuesday: Top 5 Books I Predict Will Be 5 Star Reads

top5tuesday

Hello bookworms!
How are you all doing? I am sorry once again for my absence lately. My nephew was born on Saturday April 21, 2018 at 5:50 am and I was invited by my brother and his wife to be in the delivery room. It was a very emotional time and he is just so perfect and precious. So I have been catching up on sleep and trying to catch up on reading but I have not been very successful. But anyway, it’s Tuesday so it’s time for another Top 5 Tuesday! Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Shanah @ Bionic Book Worm and today’s topic is Top 5 Books I Predict Will be 5 Star Reads. Here we go…

Scythe1

1. Scythe by Neal Shusterman
This will actually be my next read (hopefully). I remember seeing this book quite a bit when it first came out in 2016 and then I didn’t see it as much in 2017. But after the release of the sequel, Thunderhead, I started seeing it EVERYWHERE again. The story line sounds so good and reviewers that I trust have really loved it.

Six of Crows duology1

2. Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
Okay, so you might know that I did not enjoy the Grishaverse trilogy by Leigh Bardugo and everyone has told me that Six of Crows is so much better. So I have extremely high expectations for this book and I honestly don’t think that I will be let down because it sounds great!

Renegades1

3. Renegades by Marissa Meyer
So, I have loved just about all of Meyer’s books. Now this one is a little different because it’s not a retelling like all of her previous books but I still have faith that I will love it.

Warcross1

4. Warcross by Marie Lu
I haven’t read anything by Marie Lu before but Warcross is very popular and loved by many. My cousin recently read it and she said she enjoyed it a lot! I love Ready Player One and I believe Warcross fits into that same genre so I’m excited to read it and hopefully love it!

Furyborn1

5. Furyborn by Claire Legrand
I received an arc of this one and it comes out on May 22, 2018. It already has such great reviews! I’m hoping to read it next month before it’s released and I have high expectations for it.

There are probably so many more books that I could predict to be 5 star ratings but these are my top 5 and the ones that I will most likely read in the near future. What books are you predicting to be 5 star reads? If you have read any on my list, what did you think of them? Thanks for reading, cya!

  2. I’ve read three of them! I gave SoC duology 4 stars, Renegade 3 stars (seriously this book is quite boring and has no climax), and I gave Warcross 4 stars (because it’s too predictable and instalove, ughh!) Scythe is on my TBR too!

  3. I’ve read Six of Crows, Renegades, and Warcross and loved them all! Scythe almost made my list this week. It’s one that I have on my TBR but haven’t gotten to it yet. I’ve heard so many amazing things about it!!
Thanks for participating – added you to the list 🙂
