TBR: April 2018 (Husband Picks My TBR)

TBR April 2018

Hello bookworms! It’s April so it’s time that I set another TBR. Except this time is a little different. I’ve seen a lot of videos and posts where fellow bookworms ask their boyfriends/husbands to pick their TBR. So that’s what I did! I asked my husband to go pick out 10 books for me to read in April and I have to say, he did pretty good. I did tell him to pick 1 classic though because I do want to keep to my goal of 1 classic a month. So here is what he picked out for me:

1. Matilda by Roald Dahl
2. The Princess Bride by William Goldman
3. Murder On the Orient Express by Agatha Christie
4. The Dry by Jane Harper
5. Scythe by Neal Shusterman
6. Thunderhead by Neal Shusterman
7. The Cruelty by Scott Bergstrom
8. The Gunslinger by Stephen King
9. Zeroes by Scott Westerfeld
10. Swarm by Scott Westerfeld

I’m actually really excited for all of these. He picked The Gunslinger because that’s the only book in my home library that is his and that he has read. I’ve been hearing amazing things about Scythe and I can’t wait to see what the hype is about. Have you read any of these? What did you think? What’s on your April TBR? Let me know in the comments. Thanks for reading, cya!

  2. I do a Mom Mondays segment where my mom picks my books. That has been a lot of fun. I asked my bf to pick a book for me as well and he picked the Exorcist, which I will be starting soon. He’s such a horror buff. lol.

I can’t wait for you to read Scythe. It’s in my top 10 favorite books everrrrr! Seriously so great. The Princess Bride was interesting as well. The movie is really good!

    Great post! ❤

  3. Haha, I don’t know I could let Jonas choose my ‘next up’ books. Not that he doesn’t know my preferences well enough… I just like to keep my options as fluid as possible, and I’d feel I’d be disappointing him if I read something else. He wouldn’t be, and I know it logically…. It’s the illogical part of me that feels that way 😂

    Enjoy your April reads!
