It’s Top 5 Tuesday time, featuring the first April topic of Top 5 Books That Need a Prequel. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Shanah @ Bionic Book Worm, so be sure to head over there and check her out. Now when I first read this topic, for some reason my mind automatically assumed that I read sequel and I had a million books that I knew needed sequels. But then I reread it and realized it said prequel and well… that’s a little harder. But I have my top 5 answers so here we go.
1. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
Okay, I know this series isn’t loved by everyone but I’m a total fan. I’m also a huge fan of Rhys and I’d love to get a prequel on the story of his life before meeting Feyre.
2. Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
I would love to see a prequel about Will Traynor. I absolutely loved him (even at his bad times) and I’d love to see him during his life when he was happy and enjoying life.
3. Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling
I’ve seen this said before, and I agree! We need the story of James, Lily and Severus while they were at Hogwarts. I would love that so much! I know that after reading and watching Harry Potter we know the story but I want more details, please!
4. An Enchantment of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson
I’d really love to see Isobel growing into her craft as an artist before she meets Rook. I really enjoyed this book and I’d love to read more from this world.
5. Caraval by Stephanie Garber
Caraval is amazing and I can’t wait for Legendary to come out but I would also love a story about Legend and how he created Caraval. Maybe we will get some of that story in Legendary but if not, I want it.
This was the hardest top 5 post for me to do. It is so hard to think of books that need prequels. So if you know of any books that need prequels, let me know! Thanks for reading, cya!
