March is here and I haven’t read a thing. I just haven’t been in the mood to read anything and it sucks. I had to say goodbye to my husband again, as he left for another job and I’ve just been watching Netflix. I guess I’m just feeling pretty lazy if I’m being honest. But anyway, it is Tuesday so that means Top 5 Tuesday time!! Check out Shanah @ Bionic Book Worm to see the weekly prompts if you are interested in joining. This weeks prompt is Top 5 Authors I Want to Meet so here they are!
1. Marissa Meyer
She is at the top of the list because I love all of her books! She is an amazing writer and her stories are so fantastic. I’ve yet to read Renegades because, quite frankly it is intimidating because of its size. But I will read it this year, and I’m sure I will love it.
2. Morgan Matson
Morgan is my favorite contemporary author and all of her books are the cutest. My favorite is The Unexpected Everything but all of her books are seriously amazing! I’m so excited for her book Save the Date which comes out June 5th.
3. Sarah J. Maas
I’m a sucker for Maas’ writing. I’ve read both the A Court of Thorns and Roses and Throne of Glass series and I think they are great. And she has 4 new books coming out this year! That’s right! 4!! How great is that?!
4. Ernest Cline
So, I’ve only read Ready Player One but it’s seriously one of the greatest books I’ve ever read and I’d love to discuss all things 80s with Mr. Cline. I recently saw that he is writing a sequel to Ready Player One and while I don’t think the story needs it, I’ll definitely be reading it.
5. Stephanie Garber
Garber is another author where I have only read one book. Which was Caraval. Caraval was the first fantasy book that I ever read and it just opened up this whole new genre to me, which I completely fell in love with. Also, the story of Caraval is just so magical and mysterious and I’m really excited to read Legendary when it comes out on May 29th.
So there you have it! Which authors would you love to meet? I’d love to hear from you all. Thanks for reading, cya!
